Another day, another Michael Rubin white party slay. On July 4, Kim Kardashian attended Rubin’s annual party in the Hamptons and, of course, was decked out in the party’s signature color. Still, ever the source of beauty inspiration, Kardashian managed to serve up a trendy manicure that we haven’t stopped thinking about: strawberry-milk nails.
Kardashian’s nails were kept their regular short length and filed into a square shape for the event. As is characteristic of the strawberry-milk manicure, Kardashian’s digits were painted a milky-pink hue for that perfect neutral that suits the entrepreneur’s normal color palette, but is also still trendy thanks to the onslaught on Barbie pink hair, makeup, and of course nails, due to the movie premiere being right around the corner. She finished with a glossy topcoat and opted out of any other art, keeping it simple and classic.
Strawberry-milk nails are the latest look to trend thanks to the popularity of its predecessor, the milk-bath. The original typically involves taking dried flowers and embedding them inside a milky-white acrylic but it has evolved to become a standalone shade, a base color for more intricate designs, and even the inspiration behind another emerging trend: blueberry-milk nails. Needless to say, the milky trend has become one of the most versatile looks we’ve encountered in a while.
